Welcome Erik Knutsson – Lead Developer at Icons Of

We’re incredibly happy to welcome Erik Knutsson to Icons Of as our new Lead Developer.

Erik brings close to fifteen years of experience in fullstack development, system architecture and leading engineering teams. He has worked with brands like, Tele2, Volvo Car retail solutions, Winefinder and IFK Göteborg, and built large-scale digital platforms from the ground up — always with a focus on clarity, performance and future-proof architecture.

Erik, Icons Of

At Icons Of, Erik will lead the development of our technical platform — helping us turn complex sustainability data into decision-driving insights. With deep experience in large TypeScript applications and a strong architectural mindset, he’ll be instrumental in shaping how our platform evolves. Erik is also well-versed in working with AI technologies, something he’s excited to explore further in a purpose-driven context.

When he’s not building systems, Erik experiments in the kitchen; every other weekend he draws a random country from a hat and cooks a new dish from that part of the world. “There are a lot of similarities between fullstack development and cooking,” he says with a smile. “It’s all about balancing function and form - making things look great and work beautifully.”

Erik is based in Mölnlycke and we’re thrilled to have him on board as we continue building tools that help companies see more, know more, and lead sustainably.
